About the Role
The 3D Character Modeler will be responsible for creating high-quality character models for the project, translating concept art into production-ready 3D assets that are optimized for rigging and animation. The role involves sculpting detailed characters, building clean topology, preparing UVs, and collaborating closely with the Art Director, Rigging TD, and Lookdev team to ensure models meet artistic style, technical requirements, and performance standards for a feature-length animated film.
Requirements
2+ years of professional experience in 3D character modeling
Strong skills in sculpting and modeling using tools such as ZBrush, Maya, Blender, or similar
Good understanding of anatomy, proportions, and stylized character design
Ability to create clean, animation-friendly topology and UV layouts
Experience preparing models for rigging and deformation
Knowledge of texturing workflows and PBR basics
Ability to follow concept art and maintain consistent style
Strong attention to detail and asset quality
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to deliver assets within production deadlines
